SOHH caught up with rap veteran Scarface to talk about his secret for success, how his son needs to take a cue from Soulja Boy and the lowdown on his brand new website for aspiring artists.

It’s been years since he’s had to hunt somebody down to hand off a demo, but Face said he hasn’t forgotten what it’s like. Young, hungry up-and-comers won’t let him.

“They been tearin’ my ass up with CDs,” he told SOHH.

So he’s taking the demo shopping game world wide on the web with his new site Heregomydemo.com- which just recently launched. It’s built like a social networking site with member profiles, pictures and music, but it’s especially for artists and musicians.

“It’s for everybody that’s been tryin’ to shop a demo,” he explained.

He hopes the new site will not only help launch careers - offering artists the opportunity to sell their music free – but also, bring some unity to the game.

“It’s some good talent out there that’s getting fucked up because record companies wanna make quantity and not quality,” Face said.

Among the talented that have made it in spite of the industry, Face counts Soulja Boy – who the the rapper has already confessed his admiration for in a prior interview with SOHH.

And though he’s of Ice-T’s generation, Face said he can’t ride with the O.G. rapper in his slamming of Soulja’s music in a YouTube feud, saying the teenager single-handedly killed...
