Accurate Masta Ace Lyrics

Accurate Masta Ace lyrics for research, informative, and entertainment purposes. Accurate "Disposable Arts" and "A Long Hot Summer" lyrics and more.
Masta Ace

Masta Ace first gained fame with his appearance on the famous Juice Crew Posse song "The Symphony" (along with Craig G., Big Daddy Kane, and Kool G. Rap) and was signed to the Cold Chillin' label during the 1980's and early 1990's. His most recent (and reportedly last) album A Long Hot Summer, gained considerable acclaim in 2004.

While usually well-reviewed, Masta Ace never quite rose to stardom. However, Ace has a number of notable underground hip-hop songs, namely "Born To Roll," "Acknowledge" (which disses the rap group High and Mighty as well as a harsh stab at underground rapper Boogieman), and "Hellbound" which is better known for its show stealing verse from Eminem.

Though Masta Ace never did gain mass popularity he is still very respected as a rapper amongst most people in the hip hop world.

Masta Ace has received praise and been thanked publicly by many in the music industry, among them, notable lyricist Eminem.

Among all his works, his two greatest works may arguably be his two latest albums, Disposable Arts and A Long Hot Summer. Both albums are unique in that they tell a story from beginning to end, seamlessly intertwining each track to flesh out the details. Though released three years later, A Long Hot Summer is the prequel to Disposable Arts.

Though considered old-school by some, Masta Ace has shown he can still create relevant (not to mention really dope) music in this day and age.

If A Long Hot Summer is indeed Masta Ace's final album, he will surely be missed by his many fans around the world.
